The Little Mermaid: Atlantica or Eden?

The Disney film, The Little Mermaid, is comprised of a number of characters whose aim is to either try to help or hinder Ariel in her quest to find true love. Ariel always seems to manage to get herself into some difficult situations, and usually relies on her friends, who are the characters described here, to help and get herself out of trouble. Ariel is a young woman who is full of life, who must rely on the love, generosity and wisdom of her friends in order to succeed.
