The Little Mermaid: Atlantica or Eden?

Ariel, also known as The Little Mermaid, is a very adventurous, outgoing and care free teenage girl. She lives under the sea in a place called Atlantica with her father King Triton and her sisters. Ariel is obsessed with anything and everything on land, and wishes that she had the ability to live on land like every other human. Ariel is so obsessed with everything human, that she collects "treasures" she finds and stores them in her secret hideaway, and asks her friends to explain to her what they are and what they do. Ariel happens to find herself close to the surface in the midst of a storm, and thankfully saves the life of a man who has found himself in the water after being flung off his ship. This crucial moment in the film introduces us to Prince Eric - Ariel's true love. After Ariel rescues Prince Eric, her desire to live on land is at an all time high. Ariel is not supported by those around her when she tells them that she has fallen in love with a human, and would rather live on land rather than in the water. With no help from her father, Ariel sacrifices the only thing she can call her own - her voice - to Ursula to have the ability to live on land and find true love. Ariel wants to find love with Prince Eric, and believes she must do this in order to gain the love of Prince Eric.
