The Story of Adam and Eve discusses the importance of obeying the rules of God, and thus knowing the difference between what is good and evil. Adam was the first human that God created, and then realized that Adam needed a woman, and thus created Eve from that of a rib from Adam. Adam and Eve originally resided in The Garden of Eden, and were told by God that they were able to eat the fruit that was produced by the trees found within The Garden of Eden, except the fruit from one tree. If Adam and Eve disobeyed God's rules and decided to go against God's wishes, then they would be removed from The Garden of Eden. One day while in The Garden, Eve was approached by a Serpent, who was the Devil in disguise, who tried to persuade Eve into eating the forbidden fruit from the tree. Eve knew that it was wrong to eat from the tree as God had previously told her not to. However, Eve went against the order's of God, and fell into temptation and decided to eat from the forbidden tree. Since Eve has decided to eat this fruit, she has succumbed to evil instead of good. To do good, Eve had to have obeyed the rules set by God, and not be persuaded towards evil, and to not give in to temptation. Giving into temptation represents evil, and to avoid finding yourself into this situation, you must always live your life with the aid of God's help, wisdom and rules.
