The Little Mermaid: Atlantica or Eden?

King Triton is the respected leader of the merpeople who resides in Atlantica. He despises all things human and all things found on the land. When King Triton discovers that Ariel has not only ventured to the surface of the water, but has come into contact with an actual human, he becomes enraged. He fears for Ariel's safety and does not want her to go close to the land in fear that she would be discovered as a mermaid and potentially harmed.He attempts to try and deter Ariel from going onto the land again with help from his trusty sidekick Sebastian. However, her father's inability to help Ariel become a human, ultimately leads her to gain the "help" of Ursula, the Evil Sea Witch. King Triton always has Ariel's best interests at heart, but fails to allow Ariel to grow up and to make her own decisions.
