The Little Mermaid: Atlantica or Eden?

Sebastian is King Triton's right hand crustacean. He is always there to help with whatever King Triton requires, and he usually requires help with Ariel. Sebastian's regular duties include taking care of, helping and mentoring Ariel, and showing her how to be a good mermaid. In Christianity, a Godparent is an individual who is decided by the parents to be their child's extra set of caretakers. The Godparent vows to always take care of the child, and to help them and show them the ways of God. Sebastian continuously attempts to show Ariel how to be a good mermaid and is constantly telling her to follow her father's orders, the same way that a Godparent takes care of their Godchild, and attempts to show them the ways and teachings of God. Both Sebastian and a child's Godparent always aim to do what is best for the child, even though the child may not always pay attention to or use the advice that is given.
